The vision of The Neat Life is a simple one: make people´s lives easier by helping them get organized. Everyone´s life is hectic and overburdened. Between work, family, children, friends, and hobbies, people tend to overextend themselves as they try to create a balanced life. The Neat Life was founded to help clients do just that: find and restore the balance in their busy lives.

The company was founded by Kim Mihalik, who saw a growing need for professional organizers in the fast-paced Washington, DC area. Originally an engineering consultant, she saw an opportunity to be able to apply her analytical skills — along with her ability to identify and fulfill her client´s needs — in a completely different way. She is a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) and is active in her local chapter. She has worked with clients nationwide in both their homes and offices to remove clutter, create new organizational systems and restore order.
